Alde knew her pup was special the moment she laid eyes on him - that's why she took him off into the wild, so she could make sure that only someone who would truly treasure him would take him home.
Of course, her handler isn't too happy about this and has asked everyone to join in the search!
Hey guys! I bred this little fluffy nugget, but then I bred a better rare-maned kid and no longer need him :c So I decided it'd be nice to give someone else a shot at owning a rare-maned toki!

Rules
- You cannot already own a rare-maned toki at time of entry! No Sphinx, Curly, Yeti, Barbary, or Long! Half and Short are not rare.

- No commissioned entries! All entries must be your own work! You may collaborate with someone else, however I only have one curly Toki and I will only put one name on the geno permission. If you choose to co-own, that's 100% your business.

Tentative free redesigns
Jesus it's been a year or more, and I'm in a...good??? place??? I want to try to (re)design a bab or two. Rules: Ya'll, this is free. You get what you get. I'll try to keep your preferences in mind, but...it's free ffs. You can do whatever you want with the redesign, idgaf. Except for commercial use, but that's probably not a concern for most people. If you posted on my previous journal, lemme know so I can try to prioritize you. Please...I want to redesign. Don't give me something with no existing design or like...a blurry uncolored sketch. Limit your designs to like...3-4. I'm open for commissions but consider: I am a working adult and so busy and tired. I've never been late with a commission, but I might just...decline if I don't wanna do it. No idea how many I'll take, so go for it.

I will NOT take specific requests, ie - "Can you make her pink? And change her heart markings to stars? And make her hair shoulder-length? And -" No. You can make suggestions, ie, "I love pastel colors", but no guarantees that I use them. - I am not going to make changes or send WIPs since these are free - if you want to commission me, feel free to contact me! - Please have a reference! - You can submit multiple characters - I will not redesign closed species. So for now I'm just gonna leave my stuff up and continue...well, not being very active. That being said, DA finally crossed a line (and I'm not confident they're not going to cross it again) and I'm gonna see where else there is to go in regards to posting my art. So, if anyone sees this and has a suggestion, feel free to let me know!
DELETING MY ART
For the like...3 people actively watching me, I will be deleting all of my art in the next few days. I'm not contributing to DA's third party AI generator. Get your stuff, if you have a commission or design from me, because it's being deleted soon. You can find me on Toyhou.se at Scyllarus, and Tumblr at oscyllarus. This is the end of an era for me - and let me be clear, I think AI art is just a tool to be learned and used. I'm old enough to remember when digital art wasn't "real art," and this is just more of the same. BUT - and this is a colossal but - I refuse to let another big corporation take my art and sell/use it for free to train their AI. I already avoid certain forms of social media because they're straight up predatory, and this is no different. So - good luck to my fellow artists and creators. Look out for yourselves.
