Jesus it's been a year or more, and I'm in a...good??? place??? I want to try to (re)design a bab or two.

Rules:

Ya'll, this is free. You get what you get. I'll try to keep your preferences in mind, but...it's free ffs.

You can do whatever you want with the redesign, idgaf. Except for commercial use, but that's probably not a concern for most people.

If you posted on my previous journal, lemme know so I can try to prioritize you.

Please...I want to redesign. Don't give me something with no existing design or like...a blurry uncolored sketch.

Limit your designs to like...3-4.

I'm open for commissions but consider: I am a working adult and so busy and tired. I've never been late with a commission, but I might just...decline if I don't wanna do it.

No idea how many I'll take, so go for it.

Do you have a character you don't love anymore? Maybe one you're willing to sacrifice to a horrible void-pomeranian as a chew toy?

Well, I'm feeling like I want to do some redesigns! These might get a little weird or creative, so keep that in mind!

Rules:

- These are not FCFS, I'm gonna pick a few based on inspiration

- These are free!

- These are experimental! I will NOT take specific requests, ie - "Can you make her pink? And change her heart markings to stars? And make her hair shoulder-length? And -" No. You can make suggestions, ie, "I love pastel colors", but no guarantees that I use them.

- I am not going to make changes or send WIPs since these are free - if you want to commission me, feel free to contact me!

- Please have a reference!

- You can submit multiple characters

- I will not redesign closed species. I don't want to dig into traits and needing to worry about whether the redesign gets approved.

- You can do whatever the fuck you want with the redesign, just credit me

I was alerted that DA has, in fact, backed off on their stance. So for now I'm just gonna leave my stuff up and continue...well, not being very active. That being said, DA finally crossed a line (and I'm not confident they're not going to cross it again) and I'm gonna see where else there is to go in regards to posting my art. So, if anyone sees this and has a suggestion, feel free to let me know!

For the like...3 people actively watching me, I will be deleting all of my art in the next few days. I'm not contributing to DA's third party AI generator. Get your stuff, if you have a commission or design from me, because it's being deleted soon.

I'm old enough to remember when digital art wasn't "real art," and this is just more of the same. BUT - and this is a colossal but - I refuse to let another big corporation take my art and sell/use it for free to train their AI. I already avoid certain forms of social media because they're straight up predatory, and this is no different. So - good luck to my fellow artists and creators. Look out for yourselves.

- For those interested, I do take commissions. Commissions start at $5/500pts for rough sketches + color and take priority over free art.
